UNDERCARRIAGE
Monocoque aluminum frame is a next generation step forward from its own unique design used in the model Kawasaki ZX-12R. Aluminum box-section frame goes over the engine, thereby reduce the width of the bike. Lightweight and very stiff, this high-tech frame makes the bike extremely responsive and stable management.
In addition to the greater rigidity of the new frame, compared with the construction of two spars, and fixing the engine hard monocoque provides even greater torsional rigidity. Through the use of the engine as the carrier, engineers managed to ease the frame. Air chamber and a battery located inside the frame for even more compactness.
Our designers made full use of technical capabilities that are provided compact engine. Front-mounted engine in the frame, wheelbase and weight distribution between front and rear axles have been carefully designed so as to achieve a combination of stability at high speeds and light, responsive handling character. Wheelbase shorter than the ZZR1200, but longer than the ZX-12R.
Mounts the steering column and the hinge of the pendulum are made of cast aluminum, which gives them strength and rigidity.
Fuel tank located at the rear of the tank and goes under the saddle, thereby shifting the center of gravity which improves stability.
